Price isn't everything, but it's a good starting point
Price should never be the be all and end all of your buying decisions, otherwise, you will probably end up being disappointed with your purchase, and spending more in the long-run
However we all recognise that price is an important part of the selection process, and it is always good to know what you should expect to pay for products within each range so you can start making your choices
PVCu
PVCu windows are the UK's most popular choice when it comes to replacements for the home. And with good reason. They offer superb insulation values, good life-spans of between 25 and 35 years typically, and are relatively maintenance free apart from wipe down and occasional oil on the moving parts. What is more, PVCu windows look better than ever today with our Lipped and Flush Casement options together with Tilt and Turn and Reversible designs all in a wide range of colour combinations - all in a product that is now more environmentally friendly than ever. Colours, Woodgrains and Textures typically add around 25% to the costs, excluding fitting, although this does vary a little
Flush PVCu
Flush PVCu Windows from our Timeless Heritage Range bring a whole new look to your homes windows
With a traditional look, and detail that gleams more from traditional carpentry and plastic manufacture, our Flush Windows help lift any homes appearance
Composite
Our number one choice for front doors by a country mile, and even starting to become a popular choice for our homes secondary doors, Composites offer great style and colour possibilities all wrapped up in a product that is more insulated, durable and secure than ever before. No wonder over 90% of our customers choose a Composite Door as their main entrance - and we have all the leading brands available including the nations favourites including Door-Stop, Solidor, Hallmark, Smart Designer, and Residor - with your choice of core, hardware and more
Aluminium
Aluminium has become the fashionable choice amongst homeowners looking for either a contemporary style or even a traditional look - with it's slim sightlines and infinite colour possibilities, Aluminium really is the designers choice. In fact its the preferred product specified by most architects, for most domestic projects. It also helps that it has super long-life, low maintenance performance, great insulation with it's thermal break and high strength
Real Timber
For some the warmth and character of a real timber window or door is unbeatable, and their preferred choice. For others it's a requirememts because of planning controls on their property. Either way, we offer a range of Contemporary, Traditional and Heritage Windows and Doors that come in every colour, including Farrow and Ball, and which are all Engineered to restrict natural movement, and reduce the number of paint cycles required over their lifetime
