The safest and most economical roof glazing for your Conservatory

The vast majority of Conservatories installed in the UK have Polycarbonate glazing in their roofing systems

The Aspire 35mm system, which is 40% thicker than ordinary polycarbonate provides exceptional levels of thermal insulation, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer, whilst at the same time, reducing sound transmission and unwanted glare. Combined with high performance standards and minimal maintenance the Aspire system offers very real benefits to the homeowner

With today's modern Polycarbonate systems you are investing in a system that offers

  • Economy - typically around 15% less expensive than the same (complete) conservatory in Glass
  • Warmth - offering similar thermal properties as insulated double glazing
  • Low Maintenance - obscure and tinted varieties will mask the debris that collects on all conservatory roofs
  • Long-life - typical life expectancy of the roof glazing in Polycarbonate 25 years and beyond and can then be easily replaced
  • Range - our conservatory range benefits from a roof thickness of an impressive 35mm 7 wall and with pitch angles of just 2½^ to over 30^, depending on style and size of your proposed Conservatory you can obtain the roof you desire in the location you need it

Clear polycarbonate roofAspire2 Maximum Duty 35mm Clear Polycarbonate – Normally chosen for roofs where you intend to have roof blinds fitted. Not recommended for south facing conservatories. Light transmission 64%
Opal polycarbonate roofAspire2 Maximum Duty 35mm Opal Polycarbonate – Helps to diffuse ultra violet rays and a popular choice but not particularly effective for south facing conservatories. Light transmission 40%
Bronze polycarbonate roofAspire2 Maximum Duty 35mm Bronze Polycarbonate – A popular choice for woodgrain finish conservatories but offers little protection against direct sunlight.  There is also a Bronze/Opal option that provides Opal finish to the inside which provides improved performance.  Light transmission 41%
Heatguard polycarbonate roofAspire2 Maximum Duty 35mm Heatguard Polycarbonate – Recommended for south facing conservatories as it has a reflective coating to help prevent direct sunlight penetration and an opal finish internally.  Light transmission 13%

Heatguard is an innovative polycarbonate designed to limit heat build-up within the conservatory. It allows light to enter the roof, but by deflecting solar radiation, can reduce solar heat gain through the roof by up to 50% compared to conventional material. Heatguard provides a very cost effective option to reduce heat gain though the roof, often eliminating the need for blinds
