The chambered top cappings are now included with your HERONHURST Classic System Conservatory, creating a conservatory roof that offers increased thermal performance which is 4°C warmer than 'so called' similar systems which use PVC or aluminium top cappings, when used under the same test conditions

Is it controllable?

In the roof we will never fit just ordinary glass - if you choose glass it is always from our SolarShield family of extremely energy efficient glass systems

Choose SolarShield Warmtouch for locations which are often in the shade. Because SolarShield Warmtouch has a low u-value of just 1.1u it will retain nearly 3 times as much heat as regular double glazing (2.8u) and over 50% more heat than Pilkington K (1.7u) - what is more it will help keep you cool in summer, keeping out up to 15% more heat than standard glazing

If you are in a sunnier location and heat gain is a real issue for you, consider our effective SolarShield ClimaControl Blue, Clear or new Aqua - maintaining all the benefits of the original SolarShield Warmtouch system, but keeping out up to 78% of the suns heat, and both come with a patented True Self-Clean System on the outside which is there for the lifetime of the unit (it is not just a coating as on some so-called Self-Clean systems) - the ClimaControl Aqua will reduce glare by around 68% whilst ClimaControl Clear will maintain the most natural vision and true colour transfer possible
